This describes how to handle problems during the printer driver and the software installation

Cannot install the RISO IS700C
Software. • Installation does not start even if the CD-ROM is inserted in the computer.
The computer model or settings may not allow installation auto start.
Double-click on the “RISO_Software_package.exe” on the CD-ROM.
The RISO Management Tool does
not operate normally. • The RISO Management Tool is not properly installed.
See the pages below and reinstall the RISO Management Tool.

• The RISO Management Tool starts, but the printer information is not
displayed.
– Click [Search] icon, and refresh the display information.
– Confirm that the power is ON for the IS700C and printer.
– Confirm that the IS700C and computer and the IS700C and printer are
connected correctly.

Cannot install the printer driver. • The IP address for the IS700C has not been set.

The IP Address entered by the RISO Management Tool is incorrect. Enter
the correct IP address.
Problem Cause and Solution
Nothing displays on the screen
even after setting the Touch Panel
Display Power switch to ON. • Ensure that the Touch Panel Display power plug is correctly plugged into
an electricity outlet.
• Ensure that the Touch Panel Display and the IS700C are correctly connected.
• Ensure that the power switches for the IS700C and the Touch Panel
Display are set to ON.
The Touch Panel Display is grey and
operations cannot be performed. [Enforce login] is set to [ON] at the RISO Console. Login by entering the ID
and password in the login area.
