Measurement

Measurement

The KS-19F does not have measurement controls or a display for measurement 

results. It is designed to perform measurement under control of a controller 

KE-40B1 connected to it. For details, please refer to the documentation of 

the controller KE-40B1.

The KS-19F is not equipped with a means for adjusting the fl ow rate of the 

sample fl uid. Refer to the documentation of the fl ow rate adjustment device 

in the measurement system and adjust the fl ow rate accordingly. 

When the KS-19F is connected to the controller KE-40B1, particle counts 

of the KE-40B1 is converted to number concentration with reference to an 

effective sampling fl ow rate of the KS-19F. 

Error message

When there is a problem with the KS-19F, the LIQUID LEAK indicator, CELL 

indicator, and LASER indicator are used to indicate the condition.  

The following explanation explains operation and error messages when the 

problem has occurred. 

For information on countermeasures, please refer to the section “Trouble-

shooting” on page 37.
