• If sample fl uid has accidentally entered other part of the unit, there may
be a risk of fi re. Disconnect the connection cable immediately from the
CONTROLLER connector of the unit.
• If the unit operates abnormally, disconnect the connection cable from the
CONTROLLER connector of the unit.
• Before using the unit, make sure that all cord, cable and tube connections are
correctly and safely established. Do not subject the cords, cables and tubes to
excessive bending or other force. When disconnecting the cords, cables and
tubes, disconnect while holding onto the end of the plug, connector or tube.
• Be aware of the possibility of leaks from fl uid system parts such as
tubes, connectors, and the syringe of the syringe sampler. These parts
are consumables and must be regularly replaced.
• Excessive electrical noise or voltage fl uctuations can cause a malfunction
or a failure.
• Do not disassemble the unit or attempt internal alterations. If a malfunction
should happen to occur, do not try to solve the problem on your own, but
rather note the condition of the unit clearly and contact the supplier.
• The end plugs are required to seal the unit when storing or returning it for
maintenance or servicing. Store the plugs in a safe location for later use.
• The sample fl uid system of the unit must always be fi lled with fl uid (during
measurement, storage, and transport). If the sample fl uid system dries up,
fl ow cell problems (see page 7) can occur.
• When the unit is not installed in a clean room environment, airborne
contamination that entered in the case may adversely affect the measurement
or may cause the malfunction of the unit. To prevent this, please clean
the unit with the purge gas during installation.
• Before returning the unit for maintenance or servicing, thoroughly purge
the piping with pure water. Then fi ll the piping with clean ethyl alcohol
and install the end plugs. In addition, use the special packaging box so as
to prevent the unit from being subjected to vibrations and shock. When
sending the units, please follow any related laws and regulations, and the
instructions of your shipping carrier.
• When disposing of the unit, be sure to observe all applicable legal regulations
and guidelines in your country and community.
