[EN] - Residual head of circulator

The  boiler  is  equipped  with  a  high  efficiency

modulating circulator already hydraulically

and electrically connected, whose useful avail-

able performance is indicated in the graph.

The modulation is managed by the board

through the PUMP DUTY CYCLE - access

level INSTALLER.The circulator is factory set

with discharge head of 7 meters. The boiler is

equipped with an anti-blocking system which

starts up an operation cycle after every 24

hours of disuse in any operating status.

b

The "anti-locking" function is

only activated when the boiler is

electrically powered.

a

It is strictly forbidden to operate the

circulator without water.

Where there is the need to use a different

curve, the desired level can be selected on

the circulator.

Variable speed circulator

The modulating circulator function (applica-

ble only to the boiler circulator and not to the

circulators of any external devices connected

(e.g. booster circulator)) is only active in the

heating function. The circulator always oper-

ates at maximum speed when switching the

three-way to DHW. Through the PUMP DUTY

CYCLE parameter it is possible to choose

between:

1 - VARIABLE SPEED CIRCULATOR WITH

PROPORTIONAL MODE (41 <= PUMP

DUTY CYCLE <= 100):

  the boiler board

determines which flow rate curve to adopt

according to the instantaneous power deliv-

ered by the boiler.

2 - VARIABLE SPEED CIRCULATOR WITH

CONSTANT

  ∆T

MODE (2 <= PUMP

DUTY CYCLE <= 40):

the installer sets the

∆T

value to be maintained between outlet

and return (e.g .:by entering a value = 10,

the circulator speed will change to achieve

a system flow rate with the aim of maintain

-

ing the

 ∆T

of 10°C upstream and down-

stream of the exchanger).

3 - CIRCULATOR  IN MAXIMUM FIXED

SPEED MODE (PUMP DUTY CYCLE  =

1):

 the circulator, when activated, always

operates at maximum speed. Used on

systems with high pressure drop where

it is necessary to make the most of the

boiler discharge head in order to ensure

sufficient  circulation  (system  flow  rate  at

maximum speed less than 600 litres per

hour).

  Used in the presence of hydraulic separa-

tors with high flow rates in the downstream

circuit. Operationally:

ƒ

enter the PUMP DUTY CYCLE parameter

ƒ

set the value = 1

4 - EXCEPTIONAL USE OF A STANDARD

NON-SPEED ADJUSTABLE CIRCULA-

TOR (PUMP DUTY CYCLE = 0):

  mode

used in exceptional cases in which a tra-

ditional UPS circulator is to be used in the

boiler.
