6.6 DETAILED FUNCTIONS
6.6.1 PICK-UP AND SEPARATION
•
The originals push the actuator [A]. Then the original set sensor [B] turns on.
•
After you push the start button, the feed motor [C] starts to turn. It pushes the
pick-up roller [D] down to the original. (The feed motor drives the pick-up roller
through the feed roller [E].) Then the pick-up roller [D] feeds the original to the
separation pad [F].
•
The separation pad [F] lets one sheet of the originals go into the scanner.
