The following steps are done for each sheet of paper:
The charge roller [1] applies a charge to the photoconductive
surface of the drum [2].
A developer/toner mixture from the toner supply unit [4] is picked
up by the toner supply roller [5] and applied to the development
roller [6].
The areas of the latent image on the drum (created by exposure to
the laser beam) pick up toner from the development roller.
