Appendix
1. Sound Card Setup
Describes setup of a sound card in the host computer. Refer to the sound
card manual for details.
For a detailed explanation, refer to the manuals for the sound
card.
1)
Turn off the power for the host computer and all peripheral devices, and
unplug the power cords.
Make sure the power is off before beginning work. If this job is done
without turning off the power, there is not only a danger of damage
to the host computer and peripheral devices, but also of electric
shock.

Remove the cover from the host computer

Insert the sound card into the appropriate bus slot, either ISA, VL or PCI.
Push the card in firmly so that it is fully seated and touching the inside of
the slot.
4)
Connect the drive to the sound card.
When connecting the drive and sound card, make sure the connec-
tors are oriented properly.
