Setting a Password

Run SmartNetMonitor for Admin.

menu, point to

.
A list of printer appears.

Select the protocol of the printer you want to change its configuration.

menu, select

NIB Setup Tool
]
.
The NIB Setup Tool starts up.

To prevent the Network Interface Board configuration from being changed accidentally by some-
one other than the network administrator, you can set a password in [
NIB Setup Tool
] that is dif-
ferent from the network password. Click [
Option
] to set a password in [
NIB Setup Tool
].
