5. Copying
Do not place originals until the toner has dried completely. Wet toner may leave marks on the
scanner glass and cause smudges on the copies.
For thick, folded or bound documents where the scanner cover will not close, please press and
hold the scanner cover while scanning.
Basic Copying
This printer offers two ways of copying:
Copying with Neo Printing
Copying with Printer Keys
1. Place the original on the scanner glass.
2. When the printer is in the state of standby, press the start key once to make
one copy.
The LED indicator display will change to that shown below.
Start indicator is green
Power indicator alternates between
green and off every second
The printer is in copy/multiple copy mode.
The LED indicator display shown below indicates that the printer is in sleep mode.
Start indicator is off
