Since manual stapling is not supported by Plockmatic (BK5030) specification
has been modified to suspend printing by issuing "jam" status during manual
stapling operation.
Symptoms Corrected:

If the paper entrance sensor of the Columbia momentarily detects paper during
the initial sensor check, the Columbia sends to the mainframe a "wait" signal
one time but not a "jam" signal and remains in waiting status.
The mainframe cannot detect the anomaly and attempts to print as soon as
completing the warm-up process, however, the Columbia is in a "wait" status,
and therefore, printing is suspended although the control panel displays
"printing".
Specification has been modified to issue a "jam" status and suspend printing if
the paper entrance sensor of the Columbia detects paper even if momentarily
during the initial check process.
