The last sheet of the stack [1] enters the stapling tray. The jogger fences [2] jog the last sheet into position
(based on the width of the selected paper size) and then retract and stop 1 mm away from the sides of the
stack.
2:
The pressure plate [3] and booklet pressure roller [4] press down on the sheet. The stack feed out belt
switches on and the pawl [5] on the feed out belt catches the bottom of the stack and raises it. The stapling
tray sensor [6] detects the trailing edge of the paper stack.
3:
The feed out belt [7] raises the stack to the prescribed stapling position and stops. The jogger fences move
to the sides of the stack and the booklet staplers [8] staple the stack.
