3.1.3. KNX-COMPATIBLE BOARD
The KNX-compatible board is used as an interface to a KNX compatible system.
Only two datatypes are supported, the DPT 1 and the DPT 5.0001 of the KNX
protocol.
The
DPT 1 switch
should be configured with a correct address in the KNX
software. Once the switch is provided with a valid address, the KNX-switch acts
as a normal button.
Hold to run button modes are not supported over KNX.
Like the normal button it will be discovered when pressing the switch when the
button menu is displayed. Once it is discovered the button mode can be set.
DPT 5.001 (8 bit unsigned value) module
should be configured with a correct
address and 8-bit unsigned value. The value represents an opening percentage
for a wing of Hi-Finity system. This KNX module cannot be auto discovered.
From the button menu in the web application the modules should be manually
added and configured with the address that was set in the KNX software. There
is no button mode other than the default.
