10. Operation
a) Initial Setup
Connection via network cable
If the device is connected to your router via a network cable, the initial network setup is automatic. The main menu is
displayed directly after the boot process.
DHCP must be activated on your router (see the instructions for your router).
Connection via WLAN
When the device is switched on for the first time, or if you have previously reset it to the factory settings, the
following message appears on the display (5) after switching on. The starting process takes a few seconds.
•
Select "YES" with the BACK (7) or FORWARD (8) buttons or the corresponding arrow buttons (20) on the
remote control.
• Confirm the selection by pressing the rotary knob TUNE/SELECT (9) or the OK (30) button on the remote control.
• In the next screen, select "Add/Remove AP" and confirm the entry as described above.

Connect using the WPS button (easy way)
• On the next screen, select “Add AP (WPS button)” and confirm again as described above.

Press the WPS button on your wireless router to connect.
