15. Submenu “Alarm”
• As described in chapter 10, briefly push the button “MENU” (5) to call the OSD menu. Then use the con-
trol buttons “

” (9) to select the submenu “Alarm” and push the button “OK” (8) to confirm.
• Use the control buttons “

” or “
F
” (9) to select the desired function now. Confirm the selection with
“OK” (8).
a) Function “Motion Detection”
If you switch on alarm at motion detection, the screen/DVR will emit a sound signal.
The volume of the alarm sound signal can be set in the submenu “System”; see chapter 11. n).
• After calling the function, use the control buttons “
S
” or “
F
” (9) to choose between “Off” (sound off) or
“On” (sound on).
• Save the selection with the button “OK” (8); then you will leave setting mode again.
To leave setting mode without saving the settings (cancel), push the button “MENU” (5).
b) Function “PIR Detection”
If you switch on alarm at recognition of heat change by the PIR sensor, the screen/DVR will emit a sound
signal.
The volume of the alarm sound signal can be set in the submenu “System”; see chapter 11. n).

” (9) to choose between “Off” (sound off) or
“On” (sound on).
• Save the selection with the button “OK” (8); then you will leave setting mode again.
