h) Function “System Upgrade”
This function can be used to update the firmware of the screen/DVR and the cameras.
For this, it is necessary that you store the firmware update on a memory card and then insert it
into the screen/DVR.
If a firmware update is available, it can be found in the download area on our product website
online under www.conrad.com.
• After calling the function, use the control buttons “
S
” or “
F
” (9) to select the device for which you want
to update the firmware (screen/DVR or radio cameras).
• Use the button “OK” (8) to confirm your selection (a small check mark is displayed if a firmware update
is to be performed).
• To start the firmware update, push the “REC” (18) button. A safety prompt appears.
• Use the “OK” (8) button to start the firmware update. Alternatively, push the “MENU” (5) button to return
to the previous menu (cancel).
i) Function “Scan Mode Period”
• Use the “LOOP” (19) button to activate automatic switching between camera images (channels). The
time for how long the respective camera image is displayed can be set in this function.
• Choose the desired time (5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 seconds) with the control buttons “
S
” or “
F
” (9).
• Save the selection with the button “OK” (8); then you will leave setting mode again.
To leave setting mode without saving the settings (cancel), push the button “MENU” (5).
j) Function “Mute”
This function activates muting so that, e.g., the alarm sound at motion detection is temporarily deactivated
without needing to change the settings for the alarm sound.
• After calling the function, use the control buttons “
S
” or “
F
” (9) to choose between “Off” (muting off) or
“On” (muting on).
• Save the selection with the button “OK” (8); then you will leave setting mode again.
To leave setting mode without saving the settings (cancel), push the button “MENU” (5).
