3.16.2
BN Gateway Address
The default gateway address of the BN tool is a link-local address that is
composed of
fe80::/64
as a
network ID and
“Modified EUI-64” as an interface ID. In addition to this default gateway address, the BN
tool can use another gateway address too. If user want to use another gateway address, set the address
to
the “BN Gateway Address” box. If not set to this box, the BN tool use only the default gateway
address.
3.16.3
Data Type for transmission data
In the case of CON.TYPE
=IPv6, the BN tool converts the transmission data specified by user into the
IPv6 packet format before sending it. Whether or not to convert the transmission data specifies in the
“Data Type”. This setting applies to the data sending with “Data Transmission (see 3.3)” and
“Data.request (see 3.15)”.
-
If the
“RAW Data” is selected, the data will be sent without any changes. In this setting, the IPv6
packet header is not created, and the data is treated as the payload of MAC_DATA.request
primitive (see PRIME 4.5.4.2).
-
If the
“Configured Data” is selected, the data will be sent with any changes. In this setting, the IPv6
packet header is created, and the converted data is treated as IPv6_PDU of
CL_IPv6_DATA.request (see PRIME 5.6.9.5.2).
3.16.4
Connection Settings
-
"Header Compression" specifies the compression method standardized by PRIME (see PRIME
5.6.8.4.2). These compression methods are as follows.
-
“DATA.HC=0” does not apply compression. However, if the stateless address compression
method is supported, the stateless address compression method is applied even if
“DATA.HC=0” is specified.
-
“DATA.HC=1” apply the address compression method of LOWPAN_NH.
-
“DATA.HC=2” apply the stateful address compression method.
-
“DATA.HC=3” apply the address compression method of LOWPAN_NH and the stateful
