Entry for Mode Startup
User Mode
Turn the power on to enter User Mode. This mode is for normal operation.
Clone Mode
1) Turn the power on while holding down [PTT] key and programmable key [B] simultaneously. After
two seconds, a BEEP sounds and LED glows orange indicating that the radio enters clone mode.
2) In clone mode, press programmable key [B] to begin wired clone. Then press [PTT] key, MCU
transmits data directly through UART port. During cloning, LED of source radio flashes red and
that of target radio flashes green. A BEEP sounds when cloning is complete.
3) Press programmable key C to enter wireless clone mode. Press and hold PTT key, the radio
transmits data on the default frequency. To receive the data, the target radio should enter wireless
clone mode. User mode is reset when cloning is completed.
