EtherNet/IP Communications Module
Step 1.
Set the Operating Mode Switch (SWI) for Single or Multi-
Drive operation (see figure 3.1 and setting descriptions
below). For complete details on Multi-Drive operation, see
chapter 8.
Step 2.
Set the Web Pages Switch (SW2) to enable or disable the
module web pages. By default, the module web pages are
enabled. For complete details on the module web pages,
see chapter 10.

SW1 Setting
Description
Down position
(DN = Closed = 0)
Sets the module for Single drive mode
(default setting) using a single drive
connection.
Important:
In this mode, connections to
multiple drives must be
removed since all powered
and connected hosts will
respond to any message sent
by the module.
Up position
(UP = Open = 1)
Sets the module for Multi-Drive operation
mode using up to 5 different drives. MDI
peripherals do not operate with the module
in this mode.
