The Calibrate button starts the zeroing menu on the DENSITY4/5 . The Universal Displays shows the mes-
sage “Please control the DENSITY4/5 directly” and the calibration itself has to be performed According to
the paragraph

Update DENSITY4/5 Software
CAUTION:
THE DEVICE MAY BE REGULARLY PROVIDED WITH UPDATES. DO NOT DISCONNECT
INPUT POWER TO THE DEVICE OR SET THE ON/OFF BUTTON TO OFF DURING THE
UPDATE PROCESS OR DAMAGE TO THE UNIT OR SOFTWARE MAY OCCUR.
To update the software on your device follow the steps below:
1. Connect the DENSITY4/5 with the provided serial cable to your PC.
2. Start the DENSITY4/5 Update Tool that is delivered with the update.
3. Restart your DENSITY4/5 manually or with the help of the DENSITY4/5 Update Tool.
4. Follow the instructions shown on the display of the DENSITY4/5 .
Do
not
switch off the device during the update process!
5. After the update is finished the DENSITY4/5 will restart automatically.
