b) Downloading the app

A smartphone app is required to use FPV mode. The only costs incurred will be the normal costs incurred

through downloading. The app itself is free.

Scan one of the QR codes shown below depending on the operating system of your smartphone. After scanning the

QR code, you will be automatically re-directed to the download page for the current version of the app. Alternatively,

search for the "LW-FPV" app in "Apple Store" for the iOS operating system and in "Google Play Store" for the Android

operating system (see also Figure 14).

           Figure 12: App for iOS

                   Figure 13: App for Android

All information and functions of the app in these operating instructions were up-to-date at the time of pre-

paring these operating instructions. However, it cannot be guaranteed that some functions will be removed,

new functions will be added or functionality will be changed by the manufacturer in later updates.

c) Preparing the vehicle for use

Set up your quadcopter for operation by pairing it with the transmitter (see chapter 12. a). The model now emits a

signal (similar to a wireless router).
Go to your smartphone settings and enable Wi-Fi. Search for the "LW-FPV" app among the offered Wi-Fi signals

"WIFI-720-GPS-xxxxx" (xxxxx is an alphanumeric combination). This WLAN is transmitted from the quadcopter and

must be connected to your smartphone.
If you have successfully connected the signal to your smartphone, leave the settings and open the app on your

smartphone.
The model is now ready for take-off and can be operated with the hand-held transmitter in "FPV mode" (using the

video feed). The following instructions explain how you can take additional photos and videos in this mode. Chapter

14 explains how to control the model solely with your smartphone.
