9. Commissioning
a) Removing the Car Body
Pull the four safety clips out at the top of the vehicle and take off the car body upwards.
b) Push in aerial tube
Insert the aerial cable through the included aerial tube.
Plug the aerial tube into the respective holder at the vehi-
cle (see arrow in the figure on the right). Let any excess
aerial cable protrude loosely from the tip of the aerial tube.
Important!
Never shorten the aerial cable! Never coil the
aerial cable! This greatly reduces the range!
c) Inserting Batteries/Rechargeable Batteries in the Transmitter
Open the transmitter’s battery compartment and insert either batteries or fully charged rechargeable batteries. Ob-
serve correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see label on the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment
again.
Observe the enclosed operating instructions for the remote control system.
d) Taking the Transmitter into Operation
Switch on the transmitter and put the trimming for steering and driving functions into the centre positions.
If the transmitter has a dual rate function, deactivate it or set it to unlimited steering deflection.
