Configuring the remote control
Switch on the remote control and set the steering and throttle trim to the central position. If the remote control has a
dual rate feature, disable it or adjust it so that the steering angle is not limited.
Read the remote control instructions included with the product.
e) Inserting the vehicle battery
Warning!
Switch on and configure the remote control before connecting the vehicle battery to the speed controller
(see sections 9. c) and 9. d).
Important!
This vehicle is only suitable for use with a 6-cell NiMH battery (nominal voltage 7.2 V) or a 2-cell LiPo bat-
tery (nominal voltage 7.4 V).
Using a drive battery with more cells may make the speed controller overheat and cause a fire. In addition,
the powertrain may be damaged due to overload (e.g. differential), which will void the warranty/guarantee!
Check whether the battery has a suitable connector system for the speed controller and that the polarity is
correct (red cable = po, black cable = negative/-).
Loosen the strap (A) on the battery holder.
Insert the vehicle battery into the battery holder (B).
If the battery connection cable is very short, the battery
must be inserted into the battery holder so that the con-
nection cable points towards the rear of the vehicle.
Pull the strap (A) tight so that the vehicle battery is se
-
curely in place, and then secure the strap.
