c) Trimming
Attention!
When trimming mode is activated, you cannot control the model with the two control levers. Therefore, only
perform trimming when you have enough space and a sufficient flight altitude. When not observing this,
there is a danger of damage to the model or other objects nearby and a danger of injury to persons/animals
in the vicinity from contact or crash! Alternatively, you can also perform trimming on the ground with the
motors off (recommended).
In the course of flight operation, it is possible the quadrocopter will not hover in place but drift off in one direction
(e.g. forward). In this case, the model must be returned to the condition where the quadrocopter hovers in place by
trimming.
To trim the model, push the button "Trimming" (see figure 3, item 7). Only push the buttons briefly until you can hear
a double signal and the LED of the function check (see figure 3, item 2) flashes. The model is in trim mode while the
LED at the transmitter and, when the right control stick is actuated, the LEDs of the quadrocopter, flash.
Now push the respective control lever for the drift direction (e.g. the quadrocopter drifts forward = right control lever
for the control function nod) into the opposite direction. In this example (quadrocopter drifts forward), pull the right
control stick back repeatedly in thrusts until the Quadrocopter no longer drifts. The LEDs of the quadrocopter (in the
case described the rear LEDs) will flash when you perform this trimming. When you steer forward, the front LEDs will
flash. When you steer to the left or right, the LEDs on the left or right will flash.
Now push the control stick as often as necessary to achieve a stable flight condition. Then push the button for the
trim again to leave trimming mode. Leaving trimming mode will be confirmed with as signal sound. The LED at the
transmitter and the LED of the quadrocopter will be permanently lit again now.
d) Flip Function
The model can perform a flip (a 360° turn) at the push of a button. For this, put the quadrocopter back in a stable
hover flight at a minimum flight altitude of 1.5 metres (at sufficient distance from the pilot and the obstacles, at least
2 metres). Now briefly push the right control stick (figure 3, item 5) vertically down. The transmitter will emit a control
sound at an even rhythm to confirm that you have chosen flip mode. The control sound will remain activated until the
flip is completed.
Now put the right control lever in the direction in which the flip is to take place. If you push the right stick all the way
forward, the quadrocopter will turn over forwards. If you push the right lever backward, the quadrocopter will turn
over to the right. After you have specified the flip direction at the transmitter, put the right control lever into the neutral
position again at once.
Attention!
The flip function must only be performed if the model is flown in a large hall or outdoors in windstill condi

mitter, the flight height is not below 1.5 metres and the quadrocopter is at least 2 metres away from any
obstacles and persons. If this is not observed, there is a danger of damage to the model or other objects
nearby and a danger of injury to persons/animals in the vicinity from contact or crash!
