ater boiling
1. Press the «0/I» button. A short audible signal will be heard, and the process of
water heating will start. The button illumination will light up solid during the
operation.
2. The appliance will be automatically turned off after boiling.
3. To interrupt the heating process lift the «0/I» button.
The settings are saved if the kettle is lifted off the base during operation. The
appliance operation will be restarted automatically after returning the kettle
to the base.
Safety system
• The kettle is supplied with an automatic shut-off system upon boiling.
•
In case of water shortage the automatic overheat protection will turn off
the kettle. Wait till the appliance is cooled, thereafter it will be ready for
operation.
III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool before cleaning.
DO NOT use solvents (petrol, acetone, etc.), abrasive cleansers, and abrasive
coated sponges while cleaning.
ATTENTION! Before repeated usage make sure that the electrical contacts are
kept dry!
Base and body cleaning
Clean the kettle body and base with a soft cloth. Dry the kettle before operation.
ATTENTION! Never immerse the kettle, the base, the power cord or the sock
-
et in water: the electrical contacts should not contact with water.
Descaling
During operation, depending on the composition of usable water, oxide spots and
scale can appear on the heating element and inner walls of the appliance. To remove
it use special nonabrasive cleansers for scale cleaning and removal from kitchen
appliances.
1. Pour water into the kettle ¾ from maximum capacity and bring to a boil.
2. After the kettle turns off, add eight percent acetic acid solution to the maximum
level on the inner surface of the body.
3.
Leave this solution inside the kettle for several hours.
4. Empty the kettle and rinse properly.
5.
Fill the kettle with clean water up to the maximum level on the inner surface
of the body and bring it to boil.
6. Empty the kettle and rinse it again. If scale still remains, repeat the procedure
mentioned above.
You can also use special means for descaling. Follow manufacturer’s instructions in
this case.
Removable scale filter cleansing
1.
Open the lid. Remove the filter pulling it upward.
2.
Rinse the filter. You can use a dishwashing solution.
3.
Place the filter into the kettle with the projection to the centre.
