I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully take the appliance and its detachable parts out of the package. Remove all
wrapping material and stickers except for serial number identification sticker.
No serial number identification sticker on the appliance automatically disables
the user’s right to aftersale service.
Wipe the base of the appliance with a damp cloth, then let dry. You may notice foreign
smell when first using the appliance, this does not mean its malfunction.
After the appliance transportation or storage at low temperature keep it at
room temperature for at least two hours before plugging in.
You are advised to boil water in the kettle a few times before use to get
foreign smell out and disinfect the appliance
II. OPERATION
Preparation
1.
Fix the kettle with the base to the solid even dry horizontal surface. Make sure
the outgoing vapour during boiling does not fall on wallpaper, decorative coats,
electric units and other items, which can be damaged by humidity and high
temperature.
2.
Unwind the power cord to the desired length. Put the excessive part into the
recess at the bottom of the stand. Use an extender of appropriate capacity if
necessary (no less than 2.5 kW).
3.
Lift the kettle off the base. Press the opening button on the unit lever.
4.
Pour water into the kettle. Water level should be between minimum and maximum
levels on the inner surface of the unit frame. If the kettle is overfilled it could
cause boil-over. The unit will turn off prematurely in case of water shortage.
ATTENTION! The unit is meant only for water heating and boiling.
5.
Firmly close the kettle lid and fix it to the base. The unit will work only if it is
fixed correctly.
6. Plug in the kettle.
