THERMOSTATIC DIVERTER VALVE (COMPULSORY)
The automatic thermostatic diverter valve is used in solid fuel boilers to prevent the return of cold water into the exchanger which would
cause condensation to form.
The prolonged formation of condensation irreparably damages the heat exchanger.
The lack of a device to prevent this invalidates the guarantee.
A higher return temperature reduces the formation of condensation of the fumes and extends the life of the boiler.
Valves available offer various calibrations. RED recommends the model (see accessories list) at 55°C with hydraulic connections of 1". Once
the calibration temperature is reached, the valve opens allowing water to pass between sections "a" - "c" and supplying hot water to the
system.
