Recording Modes
A. Standby mode :
This is an intermediary mode between all other modes. Whenever you stop any recording mode,
the WC50 goes into standby mode.
Standby mode is indicated by a solid GREEN light on the back WC50. (see diagram for indicator
light).
B. Motion Activated Recording:
This is the default mode the WC50 goes into when it is powered on. In this mode, the WC50 will
record only when motion is detected. Any type of motion will be detected in this mode. In this
mode the video records in 1 min intervals to reduce file size.
Activate Motion Detection Mode:
1. Power on the WC50 and it will automatically start recording in motion activation.
2. A green light followed by 3 blinking RED lights will indicate recording has started and then turn of
during recording.
3. It will record in one minute intervals saving each recording to the SD card.
NOTE: The RED indicator light will blink 3 times anytime motion is detected.
Stop Motion Detection Mode:
1. To stop recording press the motion detection button on the remote.
2. The recording will stop, your WC50 will switch to the standby mode, and the current file will
be saved.
3. To start recording again, press the Motion Record button on the remote.
MODE BATTERY LIFE: Up to 28 hrs.
C. Continuous Recording:
In this mode, the WC50 will record continuously. There are 3 options for the video time which
include 1 min, 3 min, and 5 min. This is the only mode where these three options take affect. The
time selected determines the length of segment the video will be broken into to reduce file size (see
section 5-B-4).
