6. Attach each LATCH connector
to the anchors in the vehicle.
5. Before attaching the LATCH
connectors, locate the top tether
anchor behind the seating
position. Refer to your vehicle’s
owner’s manual if it is difficult to
find. Remove the restraint’s top
tether from its storage pouch
and attach it to the anchor but
do not tighten.
NOTE: Do NOT
use a cargo
tie
down for tether attachment. Check
your vehicle’s owner’s manual
if you are not sure of the tether
anchor location.
4b. Make sure the arrows on the
LATCH connectors face up and
the strap is not twisted.
