Rebates and bevels
To make a rebate and

To cut a rebate adjust
the depth guide

(Fig.
6) to the desired rebate
depth (compared with
the rear base surface) and fix the position with the wing nut.
Set the desired rebate width using parallel/angle guide

(Fig. 6) (the reference point
is the edge of the blade) and fix the position with the wing nut.
In order to reach the desired depth of the rebate it may be necessary to pass the
plane over the work piece more than once.
DUST EXTRACTION
Connect a vacuum cleaner to the wood shavings dis-
charge outlet using the dust extraction adapter

(Fig. 8)
provided. Fasten the adapter using two screws

(M4x12
DIN 965) as shown.
Dust extraction prevents the accumulation of dust and
wood shavings and keeps the work area clean.
Regulary clean the vacuum cleaner from dust and wood
shavings!
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Store the tool in a dry and well ventilated place. Minimal storage temperature is +5
0
C.
Proper care is necessary for a long trouble-free life of the tool.
Leave the tool at room temperature for 2-3 hours before use after transportation
in cold weather.
If condensation forms on the tool do not operate until the tool is completely dry.
Disconnect the tool from the power supply before cleaning or carrying out
any maintenance operations!
Always clean the tool after use. Check if the ventilation slots are clean.
Blade Replacement, Installation and Sharpening
Disconnect the plane from power supply before removing, installing or
sharpe-ning blades!
