Secure the battery housing to solid blocking using screws or lag bolts

1.
Wire the batteries into the terminal strip using 14ga. (minimum) wire in
series as shown below. Take care to observe polarity.
2.
Run a wire from terminal 3 on the battery controller board, and splice it
into the two Line (black) wires feeding from the transformer to the opener
controller board (bottom two wires on JP30)

The two neutral (white or grey) wires running from the transformer to
the controller board (top two wires on JP30) need to be split.
4.
Run a wire from terminal 4 on the battery controller board to the trans-
former side of the neutral wire pair, then run a wire from terminal 5 on the
battery controller board to the neutral wire end attached to the opener
controller board.
