Main functions
The Pro-Series Athene is designed to allow automatic, variable rate control by means of a linear actuator
controlling the position of the variator lever
You can at any time, also manually override the predetermined rate as field conditions require.
The basic functions are:

The instrument has a special software routine that makes seed calibration very easy. The regulation is based
on using a 1/40 ha weight check to adjust the calibration.
During normal operation the control system is started and stopped automatically via magnetic sensors as the
drill is put into and taken out of work. The sensor is triggered by the operation of the markers.

Menu keys
All instrument functions are accessed by nine menu keys adjacent to the LCD display.

The four menu keys to the right of the screen (figure 1) access the primary screen pages (those viewed during
normal operation). There are three primary screens MAIN, INFO and SET for normal operating functions, and a
SETUP screen for calibration functions.
The five sub-menu keys below the screen control the various display functions and settings for each of the
primary screen pages. Text or icons are displayed adjacent to the sub-menu keys to denote their function.
