Chapter 1: Important information
Caution: Sun covers
• If your product is supplied with a sun cover, to protect against the damaging
effects of ultraviolet (UV) light, always fit the sun cover when the product is
not in use.
• To avoid potential loss, sun covers must be removed when travelling at high
speed, whether in water or when the vessel is being towed.
TFT Displays
The colors of the display may seem to vary when viewed against a colored background or in colored
light. This is a perfectly normal effect that can be seen with all color Thin Film Transistor (TFT) displays.
Water ingress

Although the waterproof rating capacity of this product meets the stated water ingress protection
standard (refer to the product’s
Technical Specification ), water intrusion and subsequent equipment
failure may occur if the product is subjected to high-pressure washing. Raymarine will not warrant
products subjected to high-pressure washing.
