Industry Canada Equipment Attachment Limitations
The Industry Canada label on equipment means it has been tested and found to meet requirements for
telecommunications operations and safety in Canada. The label does not guarantee, however, that the
equipment will operate to your satisfaction.
Repairs to certified equipment should be made by an authorized Raymar-Telenetics agent. If the
equipment malfunctions due to any unauthorized repair or alteration, the telecommunications company
may request that you disconnect the equipment.
Ensure that connection to local telecommunications company facilities is permissible and that the
equipment is installed properly. Compliance with the above conditions may not prevent degradation of
service in some situations.
Ground connections for power and telephone lines should be wired to a single ground line. This may
be particularly important in rural areas. These connections should be made by a qualified electrician.
If already installed, the connections should be inspected by the appropriate electrical inspection
authority.
