12. Battery Enclosure

a: Move Forward/Reverse
- Move machine towards/away
from stump with switch.
b: Steering -
Steer machine Left/Right with switch.

Cutter Boom Swing -
Rotate cutter boom left to right.
d: Cutter Boom Lift -
Raise/Lower with the switch.
e.
Blade -
Raise or lower blade.
f: Emergency shut down

NOTE: To reset emergency
stop, turn swtich top clockwise.)
g: Engine throttle toggle.
h: Travel speed
- Rayco recomends only using the fast
speed while traveling between stumps.
i: Cutter Wheel On/Off Button -
Pullup to turn cutter wheel
on, press down on the button to shut the cutter wheel off.
j: Check Engine Light -
In the event the Check Engine Light
would illuminate, immediately stop operating the RG55R.
Make sure there are no potential hazards, leaking fluid of any
kind.Check the display panel on the right side of the operator
station. Contact your dealer, or Rayco Service Dept ASAP.
k: Operator Control Switch
- Changes the operators controls
between the Remote and SOA.
l: Display Panel -
Shows remote status as well as engine faults
Remote Storage
The remote storage compartment is located below the SOA
controls. To open simply remove the pin and lift the lid. If not
using the storage compartment on the machine, be sure to
keep remote in a cool dry place.

NOTICE
Continue use of the machine while the Check
Engine light is illuminated may cause other
damages and/or failure to the machine. Resulting in
void of warranty. See warranty rules and guidelines
on page 63
NOTICE
The control switches will re-center themselves in
a neutral position when released. No movement
should occur, if you observe any movement when
controls are in nuetral position, please contact
a service technician immediately and follow the
tag-out procedure outlined in the safety section of
this manual.
BEFORE ENGAGING THE CUTTER WHEEL,
THE OPERATOR MUST ENSURE THE AREA
IS CLEAR OF ANYONE OR ANYTHING THAT
MAY BE HARMED BY THE CUTTER WHEEL, OR
FLYING DEBRIS.
