Faults and possible causes
Troubleshooting requirements
Switch off the PTO and the tractor engine and lock them to prevent unauthor-
ised starting.
Put down the machine on the ground.

Risk of injury when rectifying faults inappropriately
Delayed or incorrect repairs by unqualified personnel may result in
severe personal injury as well as in damages to the machine and
the environment.
Any faults occurring must be repaired
immediately

Fault
Possible cause/action
Uneven fertiliser distribution
Drop point incorrectly adjusted. Correct the setting.
Too much fertiliser in the tractor
track
Check spreader vanes and outlets and replace faulty
parts immediately.
The fertiliser has a smoother surface than the fertiliser
that was tested for the fertiliser chart. Select later drop
point setting (e.g. from 4 to 5).
Disc speed too low. Correct speed.
Too much fertiliser in the overlap
area
The fertiliser has a rougher surface than the fertiliser that
was tested for the fertiliser chart. Select earlier drop point
setting (e.g. from 5 to 4).
Disc speed too high. Correct speed.
