Spreading volume is determined by the opening of the metering slider, which is
adjusted using the number scale on the scale plate.
The operator moves the pointer to the position specified beforehand in the
spreading table or from a calibration test. That is the end stop position
Open ,
which the slider adopts hydraulically or electrically (depending on the version) be-
fore the spreading run.

Adjusting in the direction of higher values opens the metering slider.

Adjusting in the direction of lower values closes the metering slider.
1. Fully close the metering slider.
2. Determine the position for the scale setting in the spreading table or based on
the calibration test.
3. Loosen the setscrew [2] on the end stop.
4. Move the pointer of the stop [1] to the calculated position.
5. Tighten the setscrew.

CAUTION
Material damage caused by an insufficient metering slider
opening
Insufficient opening of the metering slider can cause blockages
and can damage the spreading material. Agitator wear increases.
 Always select an adequate opening for the metering slider,
at which the spreading material flows out unhindered.
