2.2 Load distribution
In load distribution, a distinction must be made between stationary and mobile (lifting, lowering and
moving) condition. At rest, the nominal load may be evenly distributed, as exemplified, on a surface
that corresponds to half the length and half the width, that is to say a quarter. In motion, half of the
nominal load, as exemplified, may be distributed over half the length or longest side of the plate.
Distribution of nominal load at rest
Distribution of nominal load in motion
In addition to the requirements for load distribution, the following points are recommended for the
least stress on the lifting columns.
• lace heavy individual loads as close to the centre of the worktop as possible.
• Perform vertical shock pulses, if necessary, in the lower end position of the worktop.
• It is mandatory to observe the maximum duty cycle of the lifting columns, see technical data.
2.3 Structural changes at the workplace - system structures, sets of rollers
Make sure that all equipment mounted on the vertically moving part of the workstation reduce the
permissible lifting load by the weight of the equipment. Roles can be retrofitted to all adlatus products.
Any retrofitting and /or modifications are the responsibility of the customer and are subject to the
specifications given in the catalogue
Due to a significant change in the sense of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG, the CE de-
claration of conformity of the manufacturer loses its validity. The warranty claims against the
manufacturer expire as well.
