3. Safety
The data and information in the operating manual serve solely for the product description and safe
and proper operation. The information does not release the user from their own assessments and ex-
aminations. It should be noted that our products are subject to a natural wear and aging process. For
sale, rental or other transfer of the product, the manual must be passed. Safe use of the height-
adjustable workstation requires reading, understanding and observing it. For this reason, it must
be accessible to every operator.
3.1 Used labeling symbols
According to DIN EN ISO 7010, a distinction is made in the labeling of safety instructions in bid,
warning and prohibition symbols. The following symbols are used in this manual.

Increased mindfulness.

Obligation to read the manual.

The mains plug must be removed before the next activity.
Dangerwarning:
Threatening danger to the life and health of persons.

Possible danger of crushing.

3.2 General safety instructions
This chapter discusses general, not work-step specific safety instructions. The activity-specific safety ins-
tructions can be found in the relevant section of the operating instructions. Please be sure to observe
all safety instructions!
• Insecure and improper operation and adjustment of the workplace there is a risk of serious
injury from crushing and shearing.
• Never place the workstation on one side, this can damage the side panels and the engine.
Never drop the workplace.
• Never load the workstation contrary to the specified load distribution and/or regulations on
permissible attachments and attachments.
• Moisture on electrical components can endanger human life. Protect your workstation from
moisture.
