SETTING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE MOWER
CUTTING EDGES SETTINGS
The mowing belt must always be adjusted correctly. Improper adjustment can cause the driver to malfunction or mower
damage.
Use gloves when adjusting or handling knives.
Do not touch the edge of the blades!
1. Loosen the hexagon socket screws on the adjusting leg legs (Fig. 17A).
2. Adjust the foot pressure on the blade (Fig. 18) using the hexagon screws and tighten it to its new position by tightening the
nuts against rotation.
3. If necessary, adjust the clearance for the slide block (Fig. 19A) and the guide grooves in a similar manner.
On a new machine, check the adjustment of the mowing belt
after the first hour of work!
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
RISK OF INJURY!
MAKE SURE THE BLADE GUARD IS MOUNTED ON THE MOWER.
Do not place the cutting height too low. Gliders should touch the ground.
The mower‘s beam can trap the ground. This causes the machine to stop suddenly.
1. Loosen the glider screws (Fig. 20A).
2. Rotate the glider in the oval hole to set the desired cutting height.
3. Tighten the set screws.
MAINTENANCE OF THE MOWING BELT
X
Always lubricate the moving parts of the mower with dark oil after one to two hours of operation.
X
Hold the cutting blade and replace it with a genuine spare part in case of damage.
X
Frequently check that all screws and nuts are properly tightened, especially bolts,

TIRE PRESSURE
Ensure that the tire pressure is correct. If the air pressure is too low, the tire may be damaged or slip. Excessive tire loading can
break the tire. The correct pressure is always provided on the tire side.
Use a tire compressor with a gauge to inflate the tires.
TIRES REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR
Any repair or replacement of the leaked tire must be performed by a specialist.
Only use specified tire sizes (see Technical Data).
