4.1 Program Mode
The AreaRAE-Gamma has three user modes:
Text, Display
and
Program mode
. See Section 4.3 Entering Programming
Mode for details.
The programming function allows the user to change the setup
in the monitor, calibrate the monitor, modify the sensor
configuration and enter user information, etc. The programming
functions are organized in a three tier menu structure.
This is the first tier of the programming menu:
Calibrate Monitor?
Change Alarm Limits?
Change Datalog?
Change Monitor Setup?
Change Sensor Configuration?
Each menu item includes several submenus with additional
programming functions. Refer to Appendix A for a more
detailed menu structure.
Security Level
There are three levels of security in the Program Mode to
prevent unauthorized changes to specific settings. Security
levels are set by PC. See Section 4.3 Entering Programming
Mode for details.
Once inside Program Mode, the first menu will display. Press
[N/-] to view each menu option; stop until desired menu
displays. To enter and display submenu, press [Y/+].
To exit Program Mode to return to normal operation, press
[MODE] at any of the first tier menu options.
