PrPMC Customizations Sub-Menu
Options in this menu customize PrPMC options.
Field
Description
Backplane I/O
Determines how the backplane implements I/O. You can select one
of these:
•
Disabled (default)
: The local PCI bus services all I/O accesses.
•
Enabled
: I/O addresses pass through to the backplane PCI bus.
Backplane Ready
Determines how resources are assigned during boot. You can select
one of these:
•
Enabled (default)
: Selecting this option sets the Backplane Ready
bit after resources are assigned.
•
Disabled
: Selecting this option prevents the Backplane Ready bit
being set by the System BIOS.
Memory Remap
n
Maps local DRAM into backplane PCI space. You can select one of these:
• Use system BIOS settings
• 0
• 256 MB
• 1 MB
• 512 MB (default)
• 16 MB
• 1 GB
Boot Retry
Determines what occurs when boot does not succeed. You can select
one of these:
•
Enabled (default)
: Selecting this option causes boot retry.
•
Disabled
: Selecting this option prevents boot retry.
