large disk access mode. You access this menu by selecting Advanced from the Main
BIOS Setup menu.

Description
Reset Configuration Data
Determines whether to clear the Extended System Configuration Data
(ESCD) block that resides in the Flash Boot Device (FBD).
You can select one of these:
•
No (default)
: Does not clear the ESCD block.
•
Yes
: Clears the ESCD block. You must clear the block the first time
a system is turned on or if the ESCD becomes corrupted. This
option automatically resets to “No” after the block is cleared.
