Upgrading the Firmware Files in the D6600 via the D6200 Software

Upgrading the Firmware files is recommended only if the version number of the Firmware files in the D6600 is
not the latest revision.

4.2.1

Finding the Firmware version number

There are two ways to check the software versions loaded in the receiver:

•

Use of the 6200 Programming Software.

•

Through the keypad on the receiver.

Through D6200 Programming Software

Click on

User Interface

menu, and select

Software Version

This will display the CPU and Line Card software versions on
your PC.

Through the D6600 keypad

You will see this screen on the D6600:

1. Press

M / E

and enter the password. The default password is 6600. After the password is entered, the

display will read:

to scroll down to 5. Software Version and press

M / E

3. The display will show the CPU card software version.
