CONFIRMING THE LINE
NUMBERS
To determine the phone number for
each line, press
LINE 1
, lift the handset,
and dial one of the phone numbers.
If the green indicator for Line 2 flashes,
the number you dialed is for Line 2. If
you hear a busy signal, the number is for
Line 1.
Note: If you have Call Forwarding, Roll-
over, or Hunt service from your phone
company, ask someone to call one of
the phone numbers from a third phone
line and note which green indicator
flashes.
Use a small pointed object, such as a
straightened paper clip, to remove the
plastic cover from the phone number in-
dex card on the base. Then write the
phone numbers for each line in the
spaces provided.
