6 – Assembling the components
The standard version implement will be supplied already assembled in all its parts and ready to be
hitched to the loader.
Seeder unit assembly (optional)
The components must be assembled with the implement disconnected from the
loader and the hydraulic circuit disconnected from the loader's feeding circuit.
Perform assembly operations on a stable surface or on a smooth and flat pavement.
During the assembly stage, wear leather gloves and safety shoes.
If you use pneumatic screwdrivers, wear
hearing and eye protection.
1- Disassemble the roller unit from the mill and the screw register (Fig. 9).
2- Assemble the seeder unit in place of the roller unit using the same attachment points (Fig.10a
– Fig. 11). Tighten the bolts so that the seeder bracket and the screw adjuster can slide along
the attachment points (tighten the bolts, then loosen them ¼ turn); for this operation, we
recommend using manual adjustable wrenches.
NOTE 1: in the MTZ HI 135, 150 and 170 models, replace the end part of the standard screw
register with the part supplied with the seeder unit and apply the screw register in the opposite
direction as to the standard application (Fig. 10b – Ref. A).
NOTE 2: in the MTZ HI 150 model the support must be moved to the decentralized lug (Fig.
10b – Ref. B).
3- Apply the lever for opening/closing the seeder unit on the loader (Fig. 12).
