3.1.1. Machine requirements
The accuracy of the system depends to some extent on the following conditions:
•
Operating temperature
-
Always allow the machine and the hydraulics
to warm up to the normal operating temperature
before commencing load weighing.
•
Weighing on level ground
-
The tractor angle will affect the center of
gravity, hence also the load weighing result.
To achieve the best accuracy, perform the load
weighing on level ground.
•
Vehicle movement
-
For best accuracy, keep the vehicle stationary
while weighing, to avoid oscillations in the
measured pressures, due to vehicle movements.
•
Loader arm motion
