At the shell prompt, type
shutdown -h now
. The
- h
means
halt
and will shut down the system.
StorNext should
shut down gracefully and unmount the file
systems.
You can specify a delay by replacing the word n
ow
with a "+" and a
number; for example
shutdown -h +5
will shut down and halt the
system after five minutes have passed.
Modifications to the objs.conf File
Whenever there is a manual change to
objs.conf,
you must run the
following:
# snpolicy -reloadconfig=mount_path -config=objs
You should use the Lattus A10 GUI to make the changes because the
GUI takes care of reloading the object storage configuration file.
