# /usr/cvfs/bin/cvadmin -e 'start snfsdr'
# mkdir -p /stornext/snfsdr
# mount /stornext/snfsdr

Set up the directory structure for placing the metadumps onto the
snfsdr file system.
# mkdir /stornext/snfsdr/metadumps
# rm /usr/adic/database/metadumps
# ln -s /stornext/snfsdr/metadumps

Create the user file system by copying in the
snfs1.cfgx
configuration file located on the supplied Lattus A10 USB drive to
/usr/cvfs/config
directory, and then run
cvmkfs
:
# /usr/cvfs/bin/cvmkfs snfs1

Start the file system and mount it:
# /usr/cvfs/bin/cvadmin -e 'start snfs1'
# mkdir -p /stornext/snfs1
# mount /stornext/snfs1

Add the following lines into
/usr/cvfs/config/fsmlist
:
snfsdr
snfs1
Configuring DSS Policy
Complete the following to configure policies for backup and user data.

Log in to the Lattus CMC GUI.

From the
Dashboard
, navigate to the
Administration > Storage
Management > Storage Policies
page.

Click the
Add Storage Policy
link on the right side of the page to
open the
Create New Policy
dialog.
