Step 1: Unpack and Rack
the Lattus A10
Task:
Remove the Lattus A10 Access Node from the protective
packaging and install in the rack. (Follow this task if you are adding a
Lattus A10 Access Node to an existing environment.)
Note:
Quantum recommends unpacking and then installing
components one by one, rather than unpacking all
components before installing the first one.
Before You Begin

Perform an inventory to ensure you have all the components
necessary to complete the installation. (You might need to open the
shipping containers to verify contents, but do not remove
components until you are ready to install them.)
In addition to the server, make sure you have power cords and the
proper Ethernet cables.

In the Lattus A10 packing materials, locate the Lattus A10 USB
installation drive, which contains the installation media. The drive is
located in a labeled kit bag, or possibly in a small ESD bag inside the
kit bag.
