Step 5: Install Centrify Samba

Lattus A10 Access Node Installation Guide

Note:

This could be installed on the Domain Controller, but 

customers will probably not want you to install software 

on a domain controller.

Install Samba on the Lattus A10 Access Node.

Create shares in 

/etc/samba/smb.conf

 and restart Samba.

Centrify Installation 

Packages

The following three Centrify installation packages are needed to install 

Samba. These installation packages are available on the USB drive in the 

Centrify

 folder.

Note:

The first two steps (installing the Centrify DirectControl Admin 

Console and creating the 

_quantum_sfu

 zone) need to be 

done only once for a given Windows domain. If this has already 

been done for the customer’s domain, you can skip to 

installing Centrify DirectControl on the Linux system.
